一場心理醫生與他的女案例人相互「錯過」的人生故事

改編自法國當代女性主義者、也是重要劇作家及小說家—艾倫•西蘇(Hélène Cixous) 1976年的劇作《朵拉的肖像》Portrait of Dora,並獲得作者中文劇本授權。劇本充滿精神分析研究與女性文學創作的學術色彩。導演將語言和場景拆解,將畫面和聲音進行有趣的蒙太奇式斷裂與銜接,並將原劇廿世紀初的歐洲時空,轉換為深受中西文化衝擊的在地年代。「偶」在劇中扮演通往女主角精神世界的關鍵媒介,深入她成長過程中與家人及親友間紛雜糾葛的多角關係。藉由人、偶共台形式的微妙關係,及人和偶、偶和偶之間互動所產生的化學作用,讓角色恣意在現實與潛意識之間遊走交替,帶領觀眾進入真實與精神世界交替的隱晦中,探索女性內心深處的情慾世界。

Portrait of Dora

This play is adapted from“ Portrait of Dora”, a 1976 drama written by French feminist, scriptwriter, and novelist Hélène Cixous. The Chinese script is privileged to have personal authorization from Cixous herself. The play is filled with potentials in psychoanalytic research and feminist literary studies. The director of the play deconstructs the language and the scenes of the play and restructures it as a story of contemporary Taiwan, a time and space between the East and the West. The puppet is the key medium to the psychic world of the female character. It reaches deep into her multiple relationships with families and friends in her growth into adulthood. It also takes part in her complex life in the adult world and her interactions with the adults that have betrayed her. Through the subtle relations in which actors and puppets share the stage and the sparkles created in their interactions, the characters wander and cross between reality and sub-consciousness to explore the world of sexual desire deep inside a woman.
